I miss him

what an amazing life. my heart has been so full since the passing of President Hinckley. the man that i knew as my Prothet, Seer and Revelator. i miss him. i never got the chance to shake his hand, hug him, or even be in his presence but i know without a shadow of a doubt that he was a prophet of God. his legacy will live on forever in my heart. i am so grateful that i had his example in my life. he made me want to 'stand a little taller' and 'be a little better'. I found strength in his words, Gods words. what a joy it is to know that he has made it! he has made it where we are all striving to be. he has returned to the Father and Son and his sweet sweet wife Marjorie Pay. what a joy to know that the church is true, that the church will go on and flurish beyond belief. what a joy to know the plan of happiness and know that this is not his end. i am so gratful for the gospel in my life.

We love you President Hinckley!

I know; he's the only prophet I've really known too! But he did have a beautiful, long life, and I'm sure it was a reunion far sweeter than words can portray when he was met by his wife and the Savior. I hope I can be like him!

Marci, I want to stand up and say, "Amen to that sister!" No, but on a more serious note I couldn't agree with you more. I was watching the tribute to him on GTU today and couldn't help but get a little teary-eyed. What an example. He has the right, simple answers for everything.

Well said Marci. I felt like someone punched me in the stomach when I heard the news. I'll always remember him as the prophet of my youth. I wish my children could have lived during his lifetime. But knowing he's with sister Hinckley is so comforting. He finished his work on this earth, and now his reunion is sweet.
