Stay-at-Home Mommies

ok, i'll admit it...sometimes i feel this way. but as much as getting paid, or getting out would be nice, i don't want to miss out on ANYTHING!! i'm sure you other mommies can atest! Bowen is changing so fast. I love watching him play on his tummy. dispite all my efforts he's still a hard kid to get smilin', 'so serious' as grandma would say. but, so content and gosh what a joy! he loves his books (and i love reading them to him) he loves his cereal, and toys and naps! i love him oh so much. today i was checking email and holding him (he's getting kinda spoiled, always wants me to hold him...i don't mind!) and he just rested his little head on my shoulder and put his little arm around my next as if to hug me! it took my breath away. i had to stop and just enjoy the moment because cuddles are far and few between! man, i love my job!!

They are so sweet, aren't they? Motherhood is definitely the hardest but most rewarding job in the WORLD! It's incredible how fast they grow! Jack was crying the other day, and when I walked in his room to get him out of his crib, he held out his arms and said, "Ma-Ma!" I was shocked, but it's so fun to watch them change and recognize you!

Im with you Marci. It's not worth any ammount of money to give up what you get out of being a mommy. It's amazing how one smile (even one that you have to really work at getting) takes away all the frustration from all the hours of crying and drooling, and runny noses, and poopie diapers. Totally worth it, and grateful for it!

I totally agree. I would not trade "my job" for anything in the world. They are so sweet and so fun. Even the little things that they do are so precious. It is the most rewarding job !

How true that is! I could ring my little guys neck but that little neck is just too cute. I wouldn't trade being a mom for anything. Marci is right, we need to get together and do lunch soon.
