we have had such a
fun weekend! and it was all centered around
Bowen! YAY! he is getting more fun every day and growing from
baby to
boy very fast! so we
celebrated! we started on thursday, his actual birthday, with a
friend party...Yes, he has friends! he was pretty sober about the whole idea until we whipped out the
cupcakes and then he decided that this whole party thing was an
excellent idea! thursday night grandpa and grandma took him out to dinner for his birthday, and being his parents,
james and i were able to tag along. bowen (really bowen's mom! he he) was
thrilled to get the
FREE birthday cheescake! thanks Blackstone!! On
friday we had all the family over for some
birthday fun! if you know anything about me, you know
1. i love birthday's and
2. i love to decorate for parties, so this was a win win for me! and i think it turned out pretty
dang cute if i don't say so myself. and
Bowen, the most important part of the party, he was
golden! so cute the whole night! he had no problem with the fact that mom let him eat anything and everything, including
'bubble juice' (ie. pop) AND
cake! i'm sure he felt he was back in
Heaven for a minute!! so, since the two days included
100 photos (yes, that is the exact number) here it goes. if your sad you weren't there...don't worry all the pictures will make you feel as if you were! so grab the closest
cake and ice cream, sit down and watch the
celebration unfold!

yes, after everyone started leaving bowen went through and finished off all the half-eaten plates! and boy, was he excited about it!!

Marci, those pics are so cute. They do grow so fast. it's so fun to watch them grow, but so sad because before you know it they are so big! it makes you want more kids just to have the baby stages back:)
You are the best party thrower EVER! So cute and I am glad you didn't go skimpy on the pictures. BTW I love the picture with all of our kiddos. Too bad Brody is sopping wet! And the cake really was amazing go Whitney!

So Marci consider yourself booked to plan Eastons second birthday party! So adorable. And I love all of the pictures. It is such a bittersweet thing watching them grow. But it gets better everyday!

The party looks amazing -nice job! I love the cake it is gorgeous I don't think I would be able to eat it, it just looks to perfect. The party looks great Bowen looks so cute.
