a couple days ago bowen started acting strange. his bowell movements went from three a day (i know....already too many!) to FIVE a day and were anywhere from constipation to diarrhea . we would find random puddles of puke as if we had a small dog who had been feasting on people food. and his demeanor went from the happiest kid on the block, to an onry spoiled little brat! neither james nor i knew what to do. i looked up webMD to see what could be possible for a over-pooping baby. it suggested Gastroenteritis! luckily, i knew that couldn't be the case!
so last night as we were visiting family, everyone else noticed his change in attitude as well and it soon became everyones goal to figure out his diagnosis. when suddenly my mom, in all her motherly genusness said, "do you think he's teething?". my first thought, 'of course he's not teething....i'm his mother, i would KNOW if he's teething. besides he has all his lil' daggers! but in order to ween out her hypothesis i stuck my fat finger deep in the little mans mouth and WA-LA...

Poor Baby!! Those Molars are a killer!! I hate to break the bad news though,.. I teeth are worse! (At least Bailey's have been beastly!) Good luck!! Good thing he has a great mommy to take care of hiM!
Good luck with the rest of them! And last I checked, your finger wasn't fat but rather petite and feminine.
I swear mom's know it all. It must be all the experience. I hope Bowen starts feeling better soon!
Just so you know the story behind the pumpkins. I took the picture before I had decorated the rest of the house and didn't notice the pumpkins until after the picture was posted. And you know me...I was to lazy to get the camera, take another picture, down load it onto the computer, and then post it. So you have the pumpkins with the tree! I knew someone was going to have some witty comment about it. It's really quite funny! Thanks for the laugh!
Poor little Bowen. Who knew teething caused all those symptoms? Hope he's feeling better and that you can maintain your sanity until then!
Sweet Willey--You are a LIFE-SAVER!! We have had the same thing going on with Brody. Teething crossed my mind but I figured it was the "Red-headed temper" I bet he is teething too- he was SO HAPPY 2 weeks ago and now he whines and is mean. I wish I could take a few spankins back---I am an uncaring jerk. No worries...I will make it up to him!
I remember the same thing happening with Addy- you keep guessing and wondering what the heck is wrong with you kid, then, some totally different person who is not even around your kid 24/7 figures it out...no fair! Hope he is doing better!
Oh and Marci THANK YOU THANK YOU for you help on the blog-header situation- you are my LIFESAVER!!! I have been trying to figure out how to do that for MONTHS now, but thanks to you I now know how to do it, and can have a blog as cute as yours:) Woo hoo!!!
Poor guy! :( But...I thought they didn't get second year molars until they were two? Jack has all four molars in...baah, no! Can they get them early? I wonder if that's making MY little man so ornery too, then!
