Great Friends, Great Food, Great Fun!

we had an awesome chance to hang out with our friends Tyce and Rachel over the weekend. they are so fun. Rachel is THE nicest girl ever. i've never heard a mean thing come out of her mouth about anybody! she is so close to the spirit and makes me want to be better every time i'm around her, just a great example. AND she did talk james into asking me on a date many years ago...so i owe her BIG TIME!

we met at a resturant in Salt Lake. i can't remember the name, but it sure was the yummiest food i've had in a LONG time. thanks for pickin' rach....we loved it!

then we headed to temple square to see the lights. since there was a Christmas concert at the conference center, lights on Temple Square, a Jazz game down the Street and Ice Skating at the Gullivan Center....parking was a JOKE!! we tried our hardest to keep the men in good spirits (men+driving around in a snow storm for the soul purpose of looking at lights=frusterated men!)and succeeded! one hour, and one NEAR-DEATH experiance (thanks to our lil' passat and slippery roads) later, we found some parking (not free of course, but by this time we didn't care!) at the Gateway and took the nice walk to temple square. but it was well worth it! we had fun conversation and some good laughs!
thanks for a great night guys! we miss ya!

Looks like fun. I'm glad you made it safe in all the snow! That last picture of the temple is gorgeous!!! We're actually gonna be there for a sealing on Friday, so I don't know if we'll make it to your party. We'll let you know.
