my Grandma turned 80 years old last week. the big EIGHTY! we went to salt lake to take her to Olive Garden with the family. {yum} of all the pictures taken that day this was my favorite. these nice waiters came to sing happy birthday to grandma and as you can see she had no idea why they were there, nor why they were singing. so what does she do?...keep eating and ignore them. it makes me smile.

bowen was happy to be at the OG! but sadly, by the time we got our food...he had had enough. go figure, right!

we snapped a picture of all the daughters and their daughters. kinda cool.

Michelle, Aunt Colleen, me, Mom, Sariah, Aunt Janet, Ruth. not to many girls in the fam, but we shine none the less!

Yesterday was Tyrel's birthday! we went to lunch and had a little party at our house. she got some pretty cool gifts!

the party was even complete with suckers! (check out bowen's cheeks. he is most definately my son!!!)

Havyn stayed and played last night so her mommy and daddy could go on the annual birthday date! she's a hoot. we had so much fun. after running around making a mess like children do, i decided to tackle them in for a craft. but since they were both hungry, it became a "snack craft!" they spread frosting on their papers and covered them with their favorite treats!

the finished product. of course bowen just ate the whole time. he thought he was in Heaven! i would show him how to stick them on his paper and he would quickly pull them off and eat them. this is all that was left...

we ended the night with a green bath, books and some good 'ol fashioned cuddling!
