my baby has been so sick lately. the last little while he only wants to watch "memo" (translation: finding nemo!) and better yet, wants to watch it in the nude! he's had a nasty cold that just wouldn't seem to go away. i treated him with tylenol, motrin, humidifiers and love but nothing seemed to help. two weeks ago he woke up from a nap with a stronger than usual cry. i knew something was wrong so i took him to the doctor right away. sure enough the little man had an ear infection. we treated it with antibiotics and waited for the fun little buddle of joy to come back. things started looking up and james and i were both relieved. but the sickness came back with a vengence within 24 hours! he stopped eating, smiling, and even playing. he would sleep for 14-15 hours a night(this scared me so bad i would check on him every ten minutes) and still take a three hour nap during the day. so on friday, when his fever reached it's high, i took him to the doctor again. this time, double ear infections and croup! the poor kid! the Doc gave me much stronger meds and things are looking up again!! his independence is coming back and he will now eat his favorite snacks! oh, how grateful i am for modern medicine.
hopefully for the sake of my sanity, he's done watching nemo for a while. i've only seen it about 45 times now!

How sad. Good thing he has a good mommy to take care of him. Hope everything is getting better.
Poor Bowen. Nothing is worse than a sick child. Sure its fun when they cuddle with you for a little while and you aren't chasing them around 24-7, but when you realize how sick they are you just feel bad for them. Let me know if I can do anything for you.
Poor little guy. I wish I had a break from "Meemo" Bailey just wants to watch it all the time. I am greatful for Dori though, she makes me laugh everytime. I guess I am easily entertained.

Well, watching TV in the nude just happens to be my #1 most favorite passtime EVER!

I'm glad to hear he is doing better. There is nothing scarier than having a sick little one. It always worries me to death! Hopefully this darn winter will go away and take all the yucky colds and flus with it!
I love Finding Nemo but 45 times is way to much.
Poor Bowen, ear infections are so nasty, I hope you feel better soon so you can play with your Mommy.
