what a week! a simple, yet great week!

my mom and i have made BYU's Women's Conference a yearly tradition. i was so excited to go this year and it didn't let me down. i love feeling the spirit overcome me for two whole days. this conference always fills my cup for a while {and even though it's only for women, i seem to be in a better mood when i return and it benefits the men as well!!} and i don't mind the hot-tubin, shopping, and concert that come along with it!! so thanks mom, for sharing this memory with me this year!

and i'll keep it short, but i gotta add....THE CHURCH IS SOOO TRUE!!!

BUT, i can't pretend that i didn't miss my boys. i did! so much! when i dropped bowen off with my older brother so my mom and i could hit the road on wednesday, i only let one tear fall and held back the rest as best i could. come to find out, he only asked for me a couple times when he'd wake up and wonder why i wasn't in the house. {however, he still refers to james as "mommy" as well...so who knows who he was really looking for!

so when we went shopping i was sure to pick up some suveniors for the little man.

he loved is BYU football, his new clothes, "koooooooll" sunglasses and has yet to take off his hat!!

i was home in time for our usual date night, but i didn't want to leave the lil' date home so we had a 'family date' to angies for ice cream!

i don't think he minded being the third wheel. and neither did we!

but no, our fun didn't stop there...we finished it off with a great bike ride!

what a great week! i love my little family so much! i'm so grateful that my family is eternal. we feel blessed beyond measure!
