oreos and snickers bars

i have this little tradition with james. every time a semester ends i give him a little present. past gifts have included Aggie t-shirts that are on the clearance rack at the bookstore, balloons, candy bars, homemade cards, {you get the idea}

well this time i was debating on oreos or snickers at the book store when james texted me to meet him in the hub. i headed over there to find my handsome man waiting for me. (he really is the best looking guy on campus!) we sat down at a little table while he scarfed down a piece of pizza and i went over our schedule for the weekend. then he said, "oh and i bought you a end of semester gift!" {oh really!:)}

then he pulled this beauty out of his bag:

The new Macbook Pro!!

i was so shocked and so excited! i'm thinking that i should re-address the oreo/snickers battle. {i might just get him both!}

apparently he thought that the fact that i have to hold the cord in the old laptop while i type, and wait patiently for anything to load while it burns a hole in the table from the heat it puts off was bad. it didn't bother me, but i'm secretly glad that he was so annoyed by me using it.

so i've spent the last 24 hours playing with my new toy and i must say, it didn't take long for me to become a "mac"!

i've already used it to design my dream kitchen! (and lots of other rooms in my dream house!)

i haven't figured out how to upload those files but here's a pretty kitchen that it's similar too for your viewing pleasure.

and of course we've played in photo booth for a couple hours. never laughed so hard.

i love my man so much! {and not just for the gifts he showers me with!}

and the best part....i'm registered for a Macintosh class in the fall and i wont have to do all my homework on campus!! yippee! get ready for some awesomeness!

now, off to watch more tutorials.....
