bo and i went to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago to get our family festive for the holiday's.
as soon as we pulled up bowen informed me, "you will go pick whatever pumpkins you like mom and i will play at the playground!" and that was precisely what happened. i guess since he had already been there on a school field trip he had no interest in looking at more pumpkins.
however, when it came to carving the pumpkin, he was all over it! he only got frustrated when dad tried to help. but given a three year old free range with a knife is just not gonna happen!
he ended up having to strip down since pumpkin juices where getting all over him. (and bowen still hates being messy!)
he was so proud of his little jack-o-latern! he sit next to it on the porch for the week that followed. he had to eat every meal next to his "punkin"!
(once it rotted, he didn't want anything to do with a "black punkin".)
can't wait for trick-or-treating!

Marci - what did you do with Bowen?? This young man can most certainly not be him. All of a sudden he is looking so grown up!

He is so darn CUTE!!I really miss having seasons. Fall Holidays are so fun. Bowen's pumpkin looks really good. C'mon he could of carved that on his own...unless of course he likes having fingers.;) Can't wait to see pictures of him dressed up for Halloween! Love and miss you...as always!
