our family has been so busy this summer. but amidst all the working and school we did squeeze in some holiday fun. fireworks, a bbq, a pool day, a parade, a car show, and a float down the onita river! i love the summer holidays and nothing makes it better than when you can spend time with family and friends!
bowen is growing so fast. i'm pretty sure every time i come home from work he's learned something new. his newest phrases that i love are, "oh goody, goody, goody!" and "mom, you're my best friend!" i hope i stay his best friend forever! the other day he stated that he wants to go to school like mommy and wore his backpack for a good three hours that day! so cute. yet so grown up.
on the days that i work i get home late, after bowen has been tucked into bed. but occasionally i'm still here when he rises in the morning, and i L.O.V.E. it. a couple days ago, i was holding on to the last few minutes of sleep before the day was about to begin. when i heard the door to my room creak open and a sweet little "good morning mom!" i jumped from my bed. how on earth had he escaped his crib? after our good morning hugs and kisses i went in his room and saw that my baby is now occupying a big boy bed! Is he really growing this fast??
my mom would say we are busy as a bee and bowen is as cute as a bug! and i would have to agree!

Such darling pictures. I can hardly believe our sweet little "baby" is in a big boys bed! Busy as a bee is good and Bowen is definatley ALOT cuter than a bug!! Sure love you!
