james swinging on the vines. we couldn't keep him out of the trees, it's no wonder he got bug bites!

mom and dad on the rope bridges in Kakum National Forrest.

me on the rope bridges. i got a little motion sickness on these. something about swinging walkways above a wild african jungle makes me a little queazy!
james and a crocadile. yes, it's real!
me and the resting croc. luckily he had just had lunch. (at least that's what they told us!) we saw about five crocodiles but there are over 40 lurking around in that pond.
james feeding a mona monkey in the monkey sanctuary.
giving out more peanuts. we spent a few hours in this village. it was so cool. after feeding the monkeys james and i played a round of soccer with the local kids. it was a blast!

james in a hollow tree.

james in a massive tree. (it's just one tree with all the roots on the outside) there were some crazy trees in the jungle.
finishing off the night with bankoo. fermented corn made into a dough, served with spicy sauce and fish. the whole fish. eaten with none other than your own hands.

by the end of the day we were feeling pretty ghanaian.
