love number one: the temple.
james and i were able to do a session at the temple with my parents. the Accra Temple is so beautiful. i could have spent all day in the celestial room.
oh, and i failed to mention that the temple had BATHROOMS! yay! they even had flushing toilets and soap, and most importantly... toilet paper, which is hard to come by in ghana! love number two: American Food!
after the temple and some village shopping we went to a restaurant in Accra called Frankie's. pizza, burgers (with questionable meat) and the best french fry's i have ever eaten. and i've had many a french fries!
this was our most american day. and we embraced it quite well. no wonder my parents go to the city every six weeks. (don't be confused by the term "city"...it's still Africa!)

Wow Marci what an experoence, You could have written a book before you even left the airport. I'm so glad everything worked out and you look like you are having a great time! All those cute little kids remind me of my parents experience in so. africa!
