emmetts ears

little e has had ear infections like crazy. 

we finally decided to get him some relief. 

and tubes seemed to be the only answer. 

so tubes it is. 

i was a little nervous since his surgery wasn't scheduled until 11:00am 

and he was suppose to be fasting.

and this kid loves his breakfast. 

but after a sweet Father's Blessing the night before,

he slept in till 9:30 for the first time in his little life. 

and i was able to destract him till it was time to go. 

and he forgot completly about eating. 

he was a charmer all morning! 

 we played with my phone, 

played on the bed, 

played with the remote,

read books, 

and just giggled together.

 good thing he was in a good mood

because the surgery was actually 2 hours late. 

i was the only one slightly frustrated. 

once they took him back 

he was only gone for 15 minutes. 

he came back just very tired and this time was hungry. 

the sweet nurses got him some juice and we snuggled for a while. 

 

 When we was ready to go, 

he RAN to the elevators!

 We now have our happy, 

charming, 

smiling, 

melt-my-heart boy back! 

and emmett couldn't be more thrilled himself.
