All About Bo!!

Bowen had some great goals this summer! 

Aside from "playing all day every day" he also wanted to learn to swim and read Harry Potter. 

Both were accomplished before the summer was over and we were SO DANG PROUD of him! 

He's growing up so fast. 

 he also spent a little too much time with "girlfriends" haha. but we're hoping this one is a faze. 

(don't tell us otherwise.)

Luckily, he's always picked great friends and these girls are no exception! 

Then it was time to start school. 

-insert mom crying-

Emmett and I are adjusting ok now. though it was so hard at first to not have him here in the mornings. He is LOVING Wellsville Elementary and has already made some new great friends! 

He's learning fast. counting beyond 100, writing all his letters and numbers with perfection and starting to read on his own. 

THEN HE TURNED SIX!! 

what the heck??

His celebration lasted days...just how we like it. 

Grandma Saunders made a big spaghetti dinner the sunday before his birthday complete with spiderman cupcakes!

On the actual big day, September 4th, we went to lunch at Great Harvest after school. He wanted a "big cinnamon roll" and that's just what he got. it was larger then his head! 

After that we went to the movie "Planes" with grandma and grandpa and to dinner at Texas Roadhouse specifically so he could ride the saddle! 

 

The following Monday his Grandma Pratt took the family to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake. 

We had so much fun. that place never gets old. 

Then we met up with cousins for dinner at Chili's! 

so good!

 Dad helped bowen decorate his cake like spiderman! 

It is so fun to watch this boy grow up. although, it's going a little too fast if you ask me. He has the sweetest heart, loves his brother and loves to learn new things. we are so grateful to have him in our family.
