Our New House!

Shortly, as in hours, after returning from Yellowstone we moved into our new house in Wellsville. We have loved our first summer here. And have already started many new memories. The house is perfect for us! It has lots of indoor space for the kids to play, lots of outdoor space...also for the kids to play, and lots of spaces for me to clean and care for...which keeps me plenty busy! One of our favorite parts of living here is actually the people! honestly, we've never met more genuinely nice people. We love our new ward and have made so many friends in such a short time. We feel as though this is exactly where the Lord wants us to be at this time, even though it wasn't in our plans...His plans are always better anyway :)

Now for the tour...
The house is darling. a white house with a picket fence, if that's not living the classic American dream, i don't know what is! :)

Lots and lots of grass! (to mow..lol)

The house even came with pets...Chickens and Ducks!
I was immediately in Love. they were so fun to have around and Emmett could chase them for hours he loved it. (them, not as much)
Sadly, James had different feelings and so they didn't last long. :(

One of the best parts of the yard is the driveway! I have always dreamed of a tree lined driveway so this one had me at "hello"! the trees are small now, but even since this picture they have grown and i can't wait for the canopy that they will create over the driveway.
(and can you imagine the fun that will ensue when the leaves fall!!)

we actually were so excited for space that we planted the garden before the house was even ours! It has proven to be a true gift of abundance for our family. We feel so blessed every time we work in the garden and marvel at it's produce. God is good. There's nothing quite like fresh produce that you have planted, watered, weeded, grown, pruned, picked and cooked up for dinner...it always taste better!!

Then, there's the hallow.  i would dare argue its the greatest place in all of Cache Valley!
It's complete with orchard, stream, bridges, rope swings, fire pit, tree house, zipline, and serenity!
I have loved spending summer afternoons down there with a good book and old fashion play time for the kids. it has been our sanctuary!

this picture is looking down on the hallow from the house...

this picture shows the orchard from the hollow...and if you look close you can see the house up on the hill above.

Did i mention the house has a barn too? It's so fun! There are two forts in there and Bowen LOVES to spend hours exploring, building and "working" in the barn!
he even has designated his "barn clothes" haha.

We also see the prettiest sunsets here in Wellsville over the beautiful mountains that are our backdrop. This particular one was on the night we moved in, we like to think it was saying
"Welcome Home Pratt's"

All in all, we feel blessed! This is more then we deserve.
it's a dream really.
Our boys have so much fun exploring, creating, working and playing out here.
We are so grateful for this opportunity to live here and hope that God's plan for us keeps us here for a while! :)
